Historic achievement, Egnatia is declared the champion of Albanian football for the first time

Egnatia has managed to be declared the champion of Albania for the 2023-2024 season. The club from Rrogozhina defeated Partizan in the final held at "Air Albania" with the result 0-1.

This is a truly historic triumph for the team led by Edlir Tetova as it is the first time they have won the title of champion of the Superior Category.

This was a perfect season for Egnatia where after the Cup, the Tetova team also won the title, closing the season with the famous "double".

Partizani falls unconditionally, coming out "empty-handed" this season, with Shehi seeing the title slip away once again in the last game.

The only goal of this challenge came in the first half. In the 35th minute, Spahiu gave an assist to Ibrahimoglu and the latter made no mistake in front of the "Bulls" goal.

The second half was as expected, very intense from both teams. Partizani tried from time to time to equalize the numbers.

The Reds deployed Egnatia in the half-field, in the 68th minute they were unlucky, where Tap alone in front of goalkeeper Sherri failed to pass the latter, with the goalkeeper of Egnatia doing a miracle to keep the goal intact.

Rrogozhinas stayed waiting, fanatically defended the result, but they were also unlucky, in the 82nd minute, where Spahi's header was deflected by Qirko, hitting the upright.

Partizan tried in every way to get back into the game, but they could not spoil the party of Egnatia, who is deservedly the "queen" of Albanian football.

Thus, Egnatia will represent Albania in the Champions League, while the second place Partizan will go to the Conference League.
