There are no more doubts, Inter makes the final decision on the future of coach Christian Chivu

Cristian Chivu and Inter will continue their collaboration for several more years.

According to reports from Italy, the parties have reached an agreement to extend the coach's contract until 2028.

The new agreement also foresees a significant salary increase for the Romanian coach, who is expected to earn around 4 million euros per season. Only formal procedures remain to be finalized, while the signing and official announcement are expected to take place soon.

Inter president Giuseppe Marotta could formalize the deal during the Serie A Festival, which he is expected to attend in the coming days.

Chivu has earned the full trust of the black and blue leaders after an excellent debut season at the helm of the team, where he managed to win Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

The Romanian coach held a meeting with the club's leaders at Inter's headquarters this Thursday, where in addition to the details of the renewal, plans for the upcoming transfer window and strengthening the team for the new season were also discussed.

Sources close to the club say that the renewal was never in doubt, as the parties had long expressed their willingness to continue the cooperation. The last meeting served mainly to determine the final details of the new contract.
