Barcelona makes peace with Ter Stegen, Laporta meets him and returns the captain's armband

A happy ending to the Ter Stegen chapter at Barcelona. The parties have found common ground again and have made peace between them, also thanks to a meeting between president Laporta and the goalkeeper.

According to Spanish media, the first to take a step towards peace was Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. He published a message on social media announcing that he had authorized Barcelona to send La Liga the medical report for his absence, in order to financially help the club to register the new goalkeeper.

Shortly after this publication, Laporta went to the German goalkeeper's house, for a friendly dinner that lasted about two hours. After that dinner, Barcelona also communicated that it had closed the disciplinary case it had opened against the goalkeeper and he will have the captain's armband again. Thus, today at the start of the "Gamper" tournament, Ter Stegen will be the one who will speak to the fans to introduce the new season, but it is expected to be seen how the crowd will react to him.
