Medon Berisha suffered an injury that forced him to leave the field during the weekend's Serie A match between Lecce and Pisa. Lecce recently updated the national team midfielder's situation through a post on social media.

"US Lecce announces that footballer Medon Berisha, following the injury suffered during the Lecce - Pisa match, underwent a magnetic resonance imaging scan this morning, which revealed a second-degree lesion of the rectus femoris muscle of the right thigh."

Under these conditions, Medon Berisha's recovery could take up to 4 weeks.
