The history of Bayern-Real confrontations, a friendly won 9-1

Tonight the last chapter of one of the biggest rivalries that exists in European football will begin.
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have experienced some of the most epic battles in the Champions League.
A rivalry that became known as the European classic. But the history of this rivalry goes beyond the data, it is based, above all, on the duels played by many of the best players in history, many of them in the ranks of a Bayern in which they became known as "ogres" ( in Spanish) or "black beasts" of Madrid.
TORPEDO MYLER AND A MADMAN – The first chapter of this story takes place in the 1975-1976 season, when the white team met possibly the best Bayern in history in the semi-finals of the Champions Cup as it was then called the Champions League. Bayern had names that would make any team tremble: Beckenbauer, Rumenigge, Hnes, Maier and one of the most glorious strikers in history, Gerd "Torpedo" Müller. Fate was decided in Munich after the first match at the "Bernabéu", which was a worldwide scandal.
A Madrid fan jumped onto the pitch to attack referee Linemajer and Müller himself. In an "Olympiastadion" "heated" by the German press and in which the Germans Netzer and Breitner, at that time in Madrid, were treated almost as traitors to their country, Müller's two goals defeated Madrid (2-0).
AUGENTALER'S "HORNS" - It took more than a decade of waiting to experience, another crossover between the two clubs, again in the semi-finals in the 1986-1987 season. Bayern won the first leg 4-1 in a duel where Madrid finished with nine men. Juanito's dismissal in the 32nd minute was key. Many years later, in 2004, "AS" discovered that the "Bernabéu Trophy", the first in history, won by chance the year before by Bayern itself, was found thrown down the stairs in the headquarters of the Bavarian club, far from the cups of others. The German club changed its approach and today the trophy is in its privileged place in the trophy case of the German club.
A “BEAST” NAMED KAHN – The rivalry went from a sporadic event to an almost annual experience. And so much friction… spoiled the relationship between the Bavarian players and the Madrid fans. Goalkeeper Oliver Kahn and his strong character made him one of the targets of the white public. The goalkeeper never shied away from the confrontation.
SALIHAMIXHIÇ, PIZARRO AND "PALAÇOT" - Those matches were very heated by the statements before them. In the 2000-2001 season, Madrid had to surrender, losing both of their semi-final matches (0-1 and 2-1). But they hit back with an upset in the quarter-finals of the 2001-2002 season (losing 2-1 and winning 2-0), despite Salihamidzic's assurances that Madrid would "do it in their panties" or the opinion of Kahn, who told Realin: "Many ads, but they don't play football."
