Here's when the 2026 World Cup match schedules will be revealed

In a grand ceremony at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, the group draw for the 2026 World Cup has been finalized.
Fans' emotions have been heightened as several interesting matches have been scheduled, including Brazil vs. Morocco, Netherlands vs. Japan, and a return match between France and Senegal, which commemorates the latter's victory in 2002.
Also, debutants Cape Verde, Curacao, Jordan, and Uzbekistan will face giants like Spain, Germany, Argentina, and Portugal, which fans are already eagerly awaiting.
Mexico and South Africa will also open the competition at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on June 11, 2026.
The schedule and stadiums for all group stage matches will be revealed on December 6, when FIFA will release the match schedule in a live event on FIFA.com.
The unveiling time is 6:00 PM and will include 104 games that will be played in iconic stadiums in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
This first 48-team tournament will conclude with the "Round of 32" stage, where the top two teams from each group will advance, and the eight best third-place teams.
However, 6 teams are still undecided and will be announced after the completion of the playoffs that will take place in March 2026.
The European play-offs include 16 teams, including Italy, Denmark, and Sweden, while the other two places will be announced after the play-off tournament for teams from Cuba, Bolivia, and DR Congo.
With more than 6 months until the start of the 2026 World Cup, excitement is running high and fans are eagerly waiting to discover the schedules and stadiums for this historic tournament.
