Change in Serie A: Orange ball removed due to color blindness, new model arrives

The new ball that will accompany Serie A matches in this final part of the season has been unveiled. This change comes after problems caused by the previous ball, the Puma Orbita Hi-Vis, which was orange and was hotly contested for being "invisible" to colorblind people.

This prevented around 2.5 million people from watching Serie A matches.

Due to this situation, the company supplying the league's balls was forced to quickly change production. Today, it presented the new model, the Puma Orbita Serie A Enilive 2026, which will be used in the decisive phase of the Serie A Enilive season, the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa and the Primavera 1 competitions.

The graphic design of the new ball is inspired by the screen printing of artist Bruno Munari, combined with the highest technological standards. This ensures excellent performance on the field.
