Albania towards history, FIFA's reward for the national team is revealed if it wins the World Cup play-offs

But in parallel with the prestige of such an event, there will also be a huge prize at stake for Albania. A prize that comes directly from FIFA, which has revealed that it has increased the amount it will pay to all participating teams in the World Cup taking place in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The FIFA Council, meeting in Doha, Qatar, on the occasion of the Intercontinental Cup final, has approved a record payment of 10 million euros for each team participating in the 2026 World Cup. This is the highest figure ever awarded to representative teams in such a competition, where the rewards have also increased for each stage passed in the tournament, to reach up to 50 million euros more that will benefit the team that is declared World Champions.
