Almost done/ Ardjan Ismajl with a new team in Serie A

Albanian national team defender, Ardian Ismajli, is expected to continue his career in Serie A with Torino.

According to recent reports from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Turin club is ready to sign Ismajli, who is currently a free agent after his contract with Empoli expired.

Despite Empoli failing to survive in the Italian football elite, Ismajli had a standout season on an individual level, attracting interest from several clubs.

Among others, Bologna and Verona had shown interest in him in Serie A, while from Turkey it was Besiktas who wanted his services.

The transfer to Turin looks like the next step in the 27-year-old's career, who is expected to bring strength and experience to the defensive department of Ivan Juric's team.

Along with Ismajli, Torino is also expected to formalize the purchase of midfielder Anjorin.
