Poland's coach surprises with his evaluative statements about Albania,

Poland faces Albania this month, in a match valid for the World Cup Play-off semi-final.

The Polish coach, Jan Urban, admitted that it was an awkward rival, but expressed confidence in the ability of his players.

"We must be aware of the level of difficulty. Of course, in the match against Albania we have the advantage of playing at home, but the opponent also has its own advantages, even considerable ones. No one should think that the victory on March 26 is a formality. It is a difficult match for Poland," said the Polish coach.

"When Albania qualified for the 2024 European Championship, they eliminated Poland. In the tournament they played, they drew with Croatia and lost minimally to Italy and Spain. They have interesting football and the same coach for years. They have a lot of stability. Albanians are active in good clubs, many of them in Italy," Urban concluded.
