New details have been learned about the investigation into the death of 13-year-old Aurora, who fell from the seventh-floor terrace of the building where she lived in Piacenza. A fatal 'flight' of about ten meters, which ended up in the courtyard of an apartment three floors below, caused her to die.
There is a key witness who saw the thirteen-year-old with her boyfriend on October 25, shortly before the tragedy occurred. The 15-year-old was arrested for murder. The witness who provided information considered crucial to Aurora's death said he saw the boy under investigation throw the 13-year-old girl off the balcony. This evidence led the carabinieri in Piacenza to arrest the 15-year-old.
The boyfriend 'answered the questions of the investigating judge'
This morning, the session for Aurora's boyfriend took place at the Juvenile Court of Bologna, which lasted about an hour and a half. The defense of the 15-year-old, lawyer Ettore Maini, made few statements regarding the content of the statements of the boy under investigation. The lawyer limited himself by saying: "He answered, why should he use the right not to answer"?
At the end of the session, the boy's mother accompanied him to the premises of the Pratello penal institute for minors in Bologna. The decision on the validation of the arrest and the implementation of the security measure will be reached in the following hours.

Meanwhile, according to the reconstruction of the investigators, Aurora, after being pushed over the railing of the balcony on the seventh floor of the building where she lived, desperately tried to hold on to the railing itself, but then her boyfriend hit her several times with his hands , with the intention of overthrowing him. The boy is also responsible for holding a screwdriver of approximately 15 centimeters.
The circumstantial evidence against the 15-year-old was significantly worsened due to a series of elements gathered immediately afterwards by the investigative unit, allowing the Bologna prosecutor's office to take the measure it took, that of sending him to a juvenile institution.
The arrest of the 15-year-old and the reaction of the family
Upon hearing the news about the arrest ordered for the boy, Aurora's family felt "relieved", explained lawyer Lorenza Dordoni, who assists the mother of the 13-year-old who died on October 25 in Piacenza.
In recent days, the 22-year-old sister of the girl had made various accusations on social networks, clarifying that she did not believe in suicide or in the accident caused by the fall from the balcony on the eighth floor of the building. "The mother cried - said the lawyer - and said that now she considers the doubts she had today as confirmation".
The head trauma that emerged from the external examination of Aurora's body is consistent with trauma and, in all likelihood, would be the result of her fall. This is one of the findings that emerged from the autopsy of the body of the 13-year-old, which was carried out this afternoon in Pavia in the presence of consultants, namely the doctor Novella D'Agostini, appointed by Aurora's family and the medical doctor Attilio Maisto . We are already waiting for the results of the histological analyzes and the genetic research strips that were performed during the forensic examination.
