62-year-old man falls from height in Kavaja, dies on the way to hospital

A 62-year-old man lost his life this afternoon while working in construction.

Kavaja/Preliminary information

At around 3:30 PM, a 62-year-old IP pedestrian, who had been working in Qerret Kavajë, in a building, was taken to the Durrës Regional Hospital Emergency Room without any signs of life.

The 62-year-old is suspected of having lost his life as a result of a wooden beam collapsing during the dismantling of construction scaffolding.

As a result of the falling beam, the citizen SH was slightly injured in the leg.

The people who were present at the scene were escorted to the police station.

The investigation team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
