Accident on the Levan-Tepelena road, car ends up in a canal, driver taken to hospital

A road accident occurred this morning, around 09:40, on the Levan-Tepelena axis, in a place called Varibop.

According to preliminary information, a Volkswagen vehicle, driven by citizen KM, lost control and went off the road, ending up in a side ditch.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the vehicle was injured and was transported to the Fier Regional Hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance.

Preliminary sources indicate that his life is out of danger.

Police are at the scene and are carrying out procedural actions to clarify the causes and circumstances of the accident.
