In a recent interview with VIBE magazine, the American rapper confessed that the event left a strong mark on him and his family, describing it as one of the most difficult moments he has experienced.
"When someone tries to threaten your safety and the safety of the people you love, it's something that touches you deeply," the artist said, adding that after the incident he found it more difficult to feel calm and free.
According to the investigation, on March 8, a woman identified as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz allegedly arrived at the couple's property and opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon. Fortunately, no one was injured in the shooting. Sources close to the family have said that Rihanna was shaken by the incident, while authorities continue to investigate to determine a possible motive for the attack.
Ortiz faces serious charges, including attempted murder and armed robbery of a residential building. She has denied the charges in court and is being held on $1.875 million bail.
