Accident on the Tirana-Durres highway, one injured

A road accident was recorded this Wednesday on the Tirana-Durrës highway, where two vehicles went off the road and ended up in the side canal.

As a result of the collision, one person was injured and transported to receive necessary medical attention. His condition is not yet known.

According to preliminary information, the cause of the accident is suspected to have been the high speed of the vehicles, combined with the wetness on the road, which caused the drivers to lose control.

Police services and an investigation team have arrived at the scene, and are working to clarify the full circumstances of the accident.
