Denunciation/ Lawyer 'steals' 130 million lek in compensation from two orphans, father of former "Përput" competitor

According to the complaint, the legal case began after the death of their mother and was pursued against OSHEE. After they turned 18, they opened the legal process and, according to them, the Court of Appeal in Vlora in 2017 awarded them compensation in the amount of about 130 million old lek.
The complainants claim that the case was handled by lawyer Delo Meçani, who, after the conclusion of the process and the final decision, withdrew the amount of money. They say that for years they have been kept with promises that they will receive their money, but to date they have not received anything.
They point out that there is also a document drafted at the beginning of the legal process, which claims that their compensation would be only 10 million old lek, which they dispute.
In a meeting held with the lawyer in Tirana, according to the complainants, he admitted that the money had not yet been given to them, giving different statements, sometimes saying that he would deliver it and sometimes that he did not have the financial means.
Afterwards, he invited them to a meeting in Vlora, but they did not show up and did not fulfill the promises made.
Fiks Fare journalists have also contacted the lawyer, who has refused to provide detailed explanations on the amount received, the way the money was managed, and the documentation related to the case. He has stated that he will not provide an answer and has claimed that the other party has already benefited, inviting them to resolve the matter through legal means.
In another communication, when asked about the document that allegedly determines the division of the amount, the lawyer stated that he has a file with documents, but has not made them available.
The situation escalated further when the lawyer's son, Aurel Meçani, called one of the complainants and used abusive language and serious threats to his life. The phone call used threatening and offensive words, including serious statements of physical violence, "I will kill you like a dog in the middle of the street," the lawyer's son said.
Afterwards, Aurel Meçani also contacted the Fiksi journalist, apologizing for the situation and stating that he would bring his father along with the relevant documents to clarify the matter. He also admitted that there is an obligation towards the two young men.
However, the lawyer did not appear to provide the promised clarifications and the matter remained unresolved.
The complainants are seeking institutional intervention and full clarification on the fate of the compensation awarded by court decision, while the case has sparked reactions due to allegations of mismanagement of funds and serious threats that have followed the complaint.
