The Ambassador of Albania to Croatia, Riza Poda, told Euronews Albania in an interview about the condition of the injured from the accident of the Albanian bus in Croatia.
5 people are being treated in intensive care in the town of Karlovac, Poda said. He said that 4 others are receiving treatment at the Ogulin city hospital.
"I was there myself, I met with the doctors, even the injured, I talked with them. The injured who were admitted to the hospital in Karlovac, I communicated, all five were conscious, of course they have fractures, they have injuries, but according to the mothers of the five people, their lives are out of danger," said Poda.
A bus with Albanian license plates had an accident on the A1 highway between Brinje and the Ogulin junction in the direction of Zagreb, in Croatia.
According to foreign media, the incident happened at 11:43 p.m., yesterday evening, while it is known that one of the two bus drivers lost his life.
