The Police spokesman, Daut Hoxha, has given details about the accident on the Ibrahim Rugova highway. He said that 14 cars were involved in this accident and that injuries were also reported.
"Around 06:50 on the Ibrahim Rugova highway, Mazgit-Bresje over the ETC bridge, according to initial information, a chain traffic accident occurred involving 14 vehicles and as a result of the accident, injured persons were also reported."
He said that the road is temporarily blocked.
"This road is temporarily blocked, while police units and emergency teams have responded to the scene to deal with the case and treat the injured."
The incident took place near the village of Blinisht, while material damage was caused to the vehicles involved. Due to the collision of vehicles, traffic in the direction of Kukës was blocked for about 1 hour, causing long queues.
