Blitz in Vlora, 5 people are arrested, firearms are seized

A large-scale police operation has been carried out in the city of Vlora and in several villages in the Vlora River area, including numerous searches in various homes and premises.

The action is being led by the Vlora Local Police Directorate and is still ongoing on the ground, with numerous forces engaged simultaneously at several points.

According to preliminary police sources, at least 5 people have been escorted and detained so far, while firearms have also been seized during the searches.

However, no official details have yet been made public regarding the criminal offenses being investigated or the full objective of the operation.

Law enforcement agencies have continued to search several apartments and other suspicious premises, and it is expected that after the end of the action, the State Police will issue an official announcement where the full results of the operation will be made public.
