Authors of several armed robberies and violence, two arrested in Durrës

Durrës police have arrested two people this Saturday, as they are the perpetrators of several thefts.
Marvin Ferra, 21, was arrested after entering the yard of citizen MK's apartment in the village of Radë, disguised and armed with an automatic firearm, the day before.
Meanwhile, the other arrested person, citizen Rezi Kruta, 51 years old, who, in collaboration with citizen TM, who was arrested yesterday in Tirana, on two occasions, forcibly robbed, in the village of Shënvlash and in the Rinas area, two citizens whom he was transporting in his taxi vehicle.
"Within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Rada", the operational services of the Durrës DVP, in cooperation with the services of the Krujë Police Commissariat, made it possible to capture and arrest citizen MF, 21 years old, resident of the village of Mafsheq, Krujë.
The arrest of this citizen took place after, on 19.06.2026, at around 02:30, this citizen, masked and armed with an automatic firearm, entered the yard of the apartment of citizen MK, in the village of Radë, to steal.
During the operation, in the Kruja area, the 21-year-old attempted to flee, but was neutralized by the Police services.
Police services, during a search of this citizen's apartment, found and seized, as material evidence, two firearms.
Meanwhile, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Collaborator", developed and finalized by the Durrës DVP services, citizen RK, 51 years old, resident of Tirana, was identified, captured and detained.
This citizen was detained after it is suspected that, in collaboration with citizen TM (arrested yesterday in Tirana as part of the police operation codenamed "Taximetri"), on two occasions he violently robbed, in the village of Shënvlash and in the Rinas area, two citizens whom he was transporting in his taxi vehicle.
In-depth investigative actions and analysis of video footage have made it possible to legally document the events, where citizen RK served as a transporter for citizen TM, who violently robbed other taxi drivers in various cities, such as Tirana, Krujë and Durrës.
"During the search of the apartment and garage of the aforementioned citizen, material evidence was found and seized that links him to these events ," the police statement said.
The materials on the above events were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action.
