Border Police rescue two Ukrainian tourists in Saranda after they risk drowning

The Delta Special Unit services, in support of the Saranda Border Police Commissariat, have intervened to help two Ukrainian tourists, who risked their lives at sea due to deteriorating weather.

While patrolling the Ksamil area, officers found a speedboat, rented by tourists, sinking due to strong winds and severe weather conditions. There were two Ukrainian citizens on board.

Immediately, Delta Special Unit officers intervened, enabling the rescue of the two tourists, who fortunately are in good health.

Work is currently underway to bring the vessel ashore.

The Border Police remains maximally committed to guaranteeing the safety of citizens and tourists in the country's maritime spaces.
