"We heard explosions, people got scared and started pushing and running to get out." This is how witnesses recounted the serious incident that occurred at dawn this morning at the "Lollipop" nightclub in Palasë.
The festive atmosphere turned into chaos when two groups of boys got involved in a violent fight. According to reports in the Replikë.al editorial office, the conflict was preceded by arguments and then a physical clash, where hard objects such as glasses and bottles were used. Witnesses say that shots were also heard during the fight, which increased panic among those present.
At the time of the incident, artists Ylli Limani and the band “Three Dots” were on stage. The music stopped and the crowd began to rush out of fear, creating a dangerous situation where many people were injured while trying to leave the club.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured by gunfire.
The Vlora police have not yet issued a full statement on the incident, but sources close to them describe the incident as a "physical conflict between two groups of young people."
