Kruja police have arrested a 55-year-old wanted man, as part of Operation "Mountain".
Imer Kameri , a resident of Krujë, has been arrested , for whom the Tirana Court had ordered "prison arrest" for attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons.
According to the investigation, he is suspected of having shot a citizen in January 2024, during a conflict in the village of Bruzë-Zall. He is also charged with another security measure for cultivating narcotic plants.
As a result of the administration of information obtained through operational-legal channels, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Mountain", for the capture of wanted citizens, the services of the Krujë Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person, located, captured and handcuffed citizen IK, 55 years old, resident of Krujë.
For this citizen, the Tirana Court has set the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Intentional murder", attempted, committed in collaboration, and "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
In January 2024, in the village of Bruzë-Zall, during a conflict for weak motives, the 55-year-old man fired a firearm at citizen AA. Also, the security measure "Arrest in prison" was imposed on this citizen by the Tirana Court for the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants".
