Ilaria Sula's murder/ Mark Samson tried to implicate a boy the 22-year-old met on social media in the incident? The young man: Here's what he wrote to the victim's friends

The investigation into the macabre murder of 22-year-old Albanian woman, Ilaria Sula, by her ex-boyfriend is still ongoing, bringing to light serious details regarding the serious crime of Mark Samson, who killed the young woman in his home with a knife and then threw her into a ditch, stuffed in a suitcase.
To lose track, Mark Samson tried for several days to hide the crime by using her phone and writing to Ilaria's friends and family, pretending to be her, and he even implicated in the conversations a boy with whom Ilaria had started talking two days before she was killed.
The boy in question, whose identity has been kept secret, has decided to speak to the media to defend himself and tell how he unwittingly became part of a tragedy that had nothing to do with him.
He has no connection to the crime and has never met the victim, nor communicated with her beyond a brief conversation on Tinder. However, his face was used to deceive investigators and cover up a brutal murder.
"That photo is mine," the young man originally from Campania testifies. "Mark took it from Tinder to make Ilaria's friends believe that she had run away with me to Naples to 'have fun'. In reality, I was in Rome, at work. He tried to trap me, but I have nothing to do with this story," he said.
According to his testimony, he had contacted Ilaria on Tinder on March 24, just two days before her disappearance. But the conversation had not continued and the two had no further contact, neither by phone nor in person.
"It was one of those many conversations that remain open. I wasn't impressed that we didn't talk anymore," the young man says.
But in the meantime, Mark Samson, who has now confessed to the murder, had taken a photo of the boy from Ilaria's phone and, after killing him, began sending messages to her friends, pretending to be the victim himself. In those messages, he claimed that Ilaria had traveled to Naples with a boy she had met outside of university and that they had had an intimate relationship.
The purpose of the manipulation was clear, to remove suspicion from Samson himself and create an alternative version of the event, based on a fictional story.
"She told me she had just gotten out of a long-term relationship, but she didn't seem scared or worried. I don't think she felt any danger, probably because he hadn't given her any reason to suspect anything," the 27-year-old continues his testimony.
The young man emphasizes that neither Ilaria nor Mark knew anything real about him. The media writes that he was born and raised in Rome, although he is originally from Campania. From the first moments of the investigation, he has cooperated with the authorities and provided all necessary information.
"Samson smeared my face for no reason. He used me to hide a crime," he says.
Meanwhile, Samson himself, through his lawyers, has requested to be questioned again by prosecutors.
