Following the reaction from the State Police, the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has also denied Belind Këlliç's statement, according to which the State Police had refused the order to exercise control over the agri-food market in Elbasan, owned by Suel Çela's father.

In a brief response to the media, SPAK says that the investigative actions carried out in Elbasan have had the full cooperation and support of the State Police and the local Police.

"Today, on April 10, 2025, the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) carried out several investigative actions in the city of Elbasan, for which it had the full cooperation and support of the State Police and the Elbasan Local Police Directorate." - SPAK's response states.

This morning, by order of SPAK, BKH officers and Police officers conducted searches in 4 apartments and an office. More specifically, the searches were conducted at Nazif Bajrami, a well-known businessman in the construction field in Elbasan, who has won a number of tenders from public institutions, as well as at Marenglen Çoku, administrator of the Elbasan Football Team. A search was also conducted at the apartment of the director of the Elbasan Water and Sewerage Authority (UKE), Luan Tabaku.

From the analysis of conversations in the encrypted application "Sky Ecc", they have been linked to the criminal group led by Suel Çela, where the latter is still wanted by SPAK. Sources indicate that the Special Prosecution is investigating public tenders that are suspected of having been benefited by organized crime through third parties.
