"I slept with another guy.../ Ilaria Sula's murder, here's how

The macabre murder of Ilaria Sula, a 22-year-old Albanian, continues to be one of the most talked about cases in Italy, with new details being revealed from investigations that have been ongoing for two weeks.

Recently, the messages that Mark Samson, Ilaria's boyfriend, who macabrely murdered the 22-year-old, sent to her close friend, have been discovered.

The messages stated that Ilaria had met a young man and had gone to sleep with him, but when suspicions were raised by Maria Sofia, the Albanian's close friend, Samson threw away the phone.

"We met this morning outside Sapienza and he asked me if I would go out with him. I will sleep at his house today," the messages read.

To make the deception more believable, at 7:42 PM, Samson sends a photo of a half-naked woman, piqued his friend's curiosity: "Oh my God, then?

Did you do it?", and Samson texts from Ilaria's phone: "Yes, I did something stupid." When her friend asked where she was, Samson replied: "I don't want to tell Sofi, I want to feel free in every sense, without having anyone ask me where I am."

When asked for the location, Samson wrote: "I can't, dear, I'm sorry. I'm almost in Naples."

Maria Sofia is worried: "Ok, do as you wish, I'm not judging you if you went to Naples, but I certainly won't tell Mark.

Because it happened to me once to go to someone's house, and if something happened, I would be in great trouble." Samson replied, "If I'm in trouble, I can solve it myself."

Time passes and there is still no news about Ilaria. Maria Sofia calls her several times, but the girl does not answer: "Ilaria, your mother called me, the police are calling."

At noon, Samson responds on behalf of the girl: "Please, I completely forgot I had to go to Terni. I'm not in Rome."

The answer does not convince Maria Sofia, who seeks confirmation: "I don't trust you, I need to hear from you, I need to see you. Now!", while Samson, for his part, invents new excuses: "My microphone is not working, my phone fell into the water."

The author then stops responding on behalf of Ilaria Sula in messages and on March 31, when news of the disappearance becomes public, he goes on her Facebook profile and posts: "Thank you everyone, I'm fine."

This was the last attempt to deceive the investigation, before the body was found and the truth came out, which came on the night between April 1 and 2.
