Expected to make a splash/ The series that focuses on the most horrific events!

Netflix has announced the release of a new three-part documentary series, "Fred & Rose West: A British Horror Story," which may cause discomfort and shock in viewers.

The series focuses on one of the most horrific serial murder cases in British history and is scheduled to premiere on May 14.

Fred and Rose West are remembered as a married couple who, between the late 1960s and the late 1980s, committed a series of horrific crimes in the British city of Gloucester, such as the kidnapping, torture, rape and murder of women and girls.

Among the victims were their daughters, Heather and Charmaine, whose remains were later found buried under the family home on Cromwell Street, which is now a symbol of horror.

The new Netflix production offered a deeper look into the couple's monstrous crimes through exclusive and previously unseen police footage and audio recordings, as well as interviews with family members of the victims who are speaking publicly about their trauma for the first time.

Particular attention has been paid to the investigation led by Gloucestershire Police, as well as the circumstances that led to the discovery of crimes that had remained hidden for years.

The series follows the course of events chronologically, from the beginning of Fred West's interrogation over the disappearance of his daughter Heather, through the shocking discoveries of bodies buried under the family home, to the trial of Rose West, who was sentenced to life in prison for ten murders in 1995.

Fred West did not live to see the trial, as he took his own life in a prison cell on New Year's Day 1995. Although the case has already been featured in many series, including the 2021 ITV documentary series exploring Fred West's possible connection to the disappearance of 15-year-old Mary Bastholm, this series will present the victim's fuller account from the fullest perspective of the events.
