A protest has begun by the residents of Hotolisht in opposition to the road project that passes through there.

Residents are demanding expropriations at higher prices and the construction of the tunnel.

Journalist Osman Stafa states that the promised expropriation will be carried out at the rate of 250 euros/square meter, while according to residents, this figure is insufficient
to build houses from scratch.

"Civil disobedience is our path. We demand the protection of our lives, homes and dignity. We will continue with the protests and the boycott of the elections," they declare.
Meanwhile, residents and children are sitting cross-legged in the street in protest.
