Ilir Meta's lawyer, Kujtim Cakrani, speaking after the end of the session at the Constitutional Court, stated that a request for the review of the security measure has already been sent to the Constitutional Court.

Cakrani said that a decision will be made within October, while documentation is being prepared for Strasbourg, where the security measure overturned on June 26 will be appealed.

Kujtim Cakran : We have registered it with the Constitutional Court, obviously the court will take time, it will express its opinion within 3 months, which means we will have a decision within October.

Meanwhile, the battle continues for the other measure that was overturned on June 26th, and we are preparing our documentation for the European Court of Human Rights.

The Gëllci case is the most flagrant case and a slap in the face of this court for the abuse of the law and the criminal procedure code. We will continue our battle. It is a long battle, it will not end next week, not in 1 month, not in 2 months.

Ilir Meta will be released because there is no legal reason to be held in detention.
