39-year-old Albanian Eduard Vushaj, sentenced by Albanian authorities to 16 years in prison, has been arrested in Greece.

In 2016, the Shkodra Court sentenced him to 16 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Armed Robbery" because in 2013, in the village of Grabom, this citizen, in collaboration with another citizen, stopped the vehicle in which 2 citizens were traveling and, threatening them with a gun, took their money and the vehicle and injured both of them with a knife.

"As a result of the information provided by Fast Albania and DVP Shkodër and the exchange of this information through Interpol Tirana with counterparts in Athens, the "Red Card" operation was finalized."

As part of the operation, the Greek Police located, captured and provisionally arrested for extradition purposes citizen Eduard Vushaj, 39 years old.
