The car of the perpetrators of the murder of Gjovalin Prendi in Lezha was found to have been stolen in Peqin on March 13 of this year.
Investigators continue to seek details about the assassination of Roan Brahimi's father, executed in Athens on May 9, 2024, a person with a criminal record for several crimes. The stolen car was found burned in the village of Gjormë.
It is suspected that the perpetrators were 3 people, two of whom got out of the car and shot the 64-year-old man in his bar in Planë, Lezha. The victim's wife was also in the bar, but she remained silent to investigators about the perpetrators.
After the murder in Lezha, another assassination attempt was recorded in Tirana with 4 people injured and investigators suspect that the two criminal incidents have a common motive, revenge against Roan Brahimi's family members.
