Italy, two Albanians arrested for cocaine distribution

Two Albanian citizens have been arrested in Italy, on suspicion of being part of a cocaine distribution network in the city of Ancona.

According to Italian media, the operation took place overnight, after several days of police monitoring. The two suspects were tracked to a suburban area of ​​the city, where they were seen taking a suspected quantity of narcotics, which led to the immediate intervention of the authorities.

During a search of their vehicle, police found about 50 doses of cocaine ready for sale. The searches continued at their apartment, where other quantities of the drug, equipment for weighing and packaging it, and about 4,000 euros in cash, suspected to have been the proceeds of illegal activity, were seized.
