Did isolation lead to suicide? Details emerge from the death of a 17-year-old in Gjirokastra

New details have emerged from the serious incident recorded this Sunday afternoon in Gjirokastra, where a teenager is suspected of tragically ending his life after being found hanging in his apartment.
The victim is citizen V. Peçi, 17 years old, from the village of Valare, who was taken by his family at around 1:30 pm without signs of life to the Gjirokastra hospital. It is learned that the family originally comes from the village of Picar in Gjirokastra.
It is still unknown what drove the minor to this extreme act, but media sources from relatives of the Peçi family indicate that the 17-year-old suffered from isolation and melancholy problems, but was not under any medical treatment.
The police have seized the teenager's phone and several personal belongings, while they are expected to question peers and students from the "Siri Shapllo" high school, where the young man attended classes.
We recall that just two months ago, another 17-year-old from the same school ended her life, adding to concerns about the overall emotional stability of adolescents and the numerous untreated problems.
