The Special Prosecutor's Office against Organized Crime and Corruption has today presented the claim for Leart Haxhiu, accused of the Lushnja "massacre" in 2017, for which he is seeking life imprisonment.
Haxhiu, otherwise known as "the rival of Aldo Bare, the former leader of the Lushnja gang, is accused of the murder of Zamir Latif and Jurgen Hoxha as well as the wounding of Marjus Xhepexhiu and Bujar Turku in Lushnjë in 2017.
In the SPAK file, provided to Top Channel by Anila Hoxha, the dynamics of the 2017 event are explained in detail.
According to SPAK, on the afternoon of November 11, 2017, around 6:06 p.m., in the "Loni Dhamo" District, on the sidewalk in front of citizen Maksim Xhepexhiu's bar, citizens Jurgen Hoxha, Zamir Latifi, Marjus Xhepexhiu (son of Maksim Xhepexhiut), Sajmo Xheliu, Kristian Shkurti, Xjulio Shkurti, where the latter left the scene to go to the barber, a few moments before it happened.
During this moment, from the "Boulevard i Palmave" in the direction of the above persons, a vehicle, a gray Mercedes Benz, came speeding, from which three persons got out with firearms, two of whom opened fire with weapons. causing the murder of citizens Zamir Latifi and Jurgen Hoxha as well as the wounding of citizens Marjus Xhepexhiu and Bujar Turku.
After the attack with firearms, the three perpetrators of the incident, who from the investigations and the trial have turned out to be the defendants Orgest Bilbili, Laert Haxhiu and Anterio Kaloshi, left the scene with their vehicle.
At around 18:33, the Operative Hall of the Lushnje Police Station was notified that a vehicle was burning on the road of the village of Çukas Lushnje. From the investigative actions carried out (inspection of the vehicle), it turned out that the vehicle was of the "Mercedes Benz" brand.
During the search of the burned vehicle in the village of Čukas Lushnje, three suspected Kalashnikov firearms were found. The expert report showed that 27 cartridges seized at the scene were fired from the weapon found in the burned car.
While the other 14 cartridges found at the scene were fired from the gun found in the burned car. Of the third weapon found in the vehicle, no shots were fired. Based on this fact, it is proven that two people shot at the scene and that the burnt vehicle and the weapons found in it were used by the perpetrators to carry out the murder.
At 6:06 p.m., it is noticed that the vehicle that makes the parking maneuver does not park, but starts quickly towards the scene. At the moment when the vehicle appears to stop on the bridge, it is seen that the citizen Zamir Latifi falls to the ground and a person passes over him who shoots and fires at him once more.
From the examination of the cameras near the scene, it was found that in front of and behind the perpetrators' vehicle, two other vehicles which were also at the scene of the incident, namely a gray Benz C class and a white Ford Focus with a color logo, quickly left. green. Seeing that the vehicles go quickly before and after the perpetrators' vehicle, doubts arise that these two vehicles played the role of the perpetrators' assistants.
