A 29-year-old man has been arrested by Tirana police after turning the bar he managed into a sports betting den.

"As a result of systematic checks and based on information provided by police intelligence, specialists for the Investigation of Cybercrimes have determined that in a bar in the village of Daijas, sports bets were being placed by mobile phone. In this case, the bar's administrator, citizen Sh. D., 29 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Organizing or exercising gambling activities in violation of the law" and "Making premises available for illegal games ", the police announced.
