The election by Prime Minister Edi Rama of Vlora Hysen as the director of SHISH seems to have produced a cold war, here within the headquarters of the Albanian intelligence known as the Central Apparatus.
The reform initiated by the deputy director Oljan Kanushi followed by the director Vlora Hyseni, mainly with personnel movements, has attacked those officials of SHISH, who were known as untouchable, from the time of Visho Ajazi and then Helidon Bendo, but also thanks to the connections and services to politics over the years.
Those who sent information from within SHISH, then served as "digital citizen informs" are now trying to denigrate the head of Albanian intelligence, through Fake News like the one a week ago, where it was claimed that he had traveled for several days to Belgrade.
Officially, SHISH says about this claim:
"The director of the State Information Service, from the day he took office until today, has not participated in any visit or meeting outside the territory of the Republic of Albania."
An official of SHISH in the Central Apparatus, asked by the Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu, about the reason for targeting the director Vlora Hyseni, on the condition of anonymity, gave this answer:
“Shumë persona në Aparatin Qendror nuk e duan Vlora Hysenin në krye të SHISH. Arsyeja. Nuk ia gjejnë dot mikun për ti shpëtuar lëvizjeve e vijuar së qëndruari në shërbim jo në bazë të meritokracisë por si shpërblim për favore ndaj politikës. Sulmet kanë ardhur nga punonjës në Aparatin Qendror të cilët dërgojnë informacione në formën e Fake News ose të ekzagjeruara tek Sali Berisha dhe Flamur Noka”.
I njëjti burim në SHISH i Top Channel parashikon vijim e luftës së ftohtë brenda shërbimit informativ:
“Mos u habisni nëse në muajt në vazhdim do të shikoni sulme të tjera ndaj Vlora Hysenin dhe SHISH. Janë të shumtë ata në Aparatin Qendror dhe drejtorë në bazë, të cilët nuk e mirëpritën emrin e saj me motivin se vjen nga Kosova dhe se është e padepërtueshme në favor-bërje”.
Në këtë luftë të ftohtë iniciuar nga brenda SHISH-it e përdorur nga politika, SHBA-të çuan mesazhin e qartë në mbështetje të Vlora Hysenit.
“Ambasadorja Yuri Kim vizitoi Vlora Hysenin, Drejtuese e Shërbimit Informativ Shtetëror, për ta uruar për emërimin e ri dhe për t’i uruar suksese në këtë rol të rëndësishëm. Të dyja ranë dakord për rëndësinë e bashkëpunimit të fortë SHBA-Shqipëri për sigurinë kombëtare dhe inteligjencën. Ambasadorja Kim shprehu gjithashtu mbështetjen për përpjekjet e reja për të siguruar që Shqipëria të jetë në gjendje të përballojë sfidat në mënyrë efektive”.
