The most violations were committed by drivers aged 35-44, with Fier, Vlora and Korça recording an increase in accidents, while Tirana and Durrës remained calmer.

According to INSTAT data, the number of accidents fell to 88 from 104 that were registered in March last year, while the number of victims increased.
Statistics show that this March 20 people lost their lives, of which 3 were women and 17 were men, out of 15 that were recorded in March 2024.
What is noticeable is the increase in the number of male victims by 6 more than a year ago, while that of females has decreased by 1 less victim.
The blame in most cases falls on the drivers, with the 35-44 age group proving to be the most problematic, leading the list of traffic rule violators.
According to the days of the week, Monday is the most dangerous day on the road, while Thursday results in the fewest collisions.
By city, Fier has marked a slight increase in the number of accidents, followed by Vlora and Korça.
The capital and the coastal city of Durrës seem to have found calm during the month of March.
