The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra imposed the measure 'Arrest in prison' on citizen RS suspected of the criminal offense 'Illegal construction' for profit purposes provided for in Article 199/a/4 of the Criminal Code and the measure 'House arrest' on citizen AD suspected of the criminal offense 'False expertise' for profit purposes provided for in Article 309 p.2 of the Criminal Code.
Likewise, within the framework of the investigations on criminal proceedings no. 556 dated 03.11.2023, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Gjirokastër has imposed preventive seizure on the property no. 24-108-ND/1+1-2, zk. 8541, surface area 247 m2, adapted as a hotel, located in the "18 Shtatori" neighborhood of Gjirokastër, owned by the RS citizen, who, despite the decision of the Inspectorate of Territory Protection, the Municipality of Gjirokastër to suspend unauthorized works, has continued with the completion of the construction of the hotel.
From the preliminary investigations it is suspected that citizen R.Ska influenced citizen AD to compile a false expert report according to which the works carried out were only of an internal nature. In these conditions, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, the relevant security measures were also determined.
