The authorities have seized the assets of Altin Gegë and his family members as they are suspected to be the product of criminal activities.
There are 6 properties, service units and land surface which are not justified by the Gega family.
In July of last year, this person was arrested together with several other people where about 1.2 kilograms of cocaine were seized.
They even tried to run away from the police, while then the blues collided with the journalists, who were filming this action.
There are strong suspicions that this citizen had connections with criminal groups in Tirana, focused mainly on the distribution of drugs and the transportation of cannabis and cocaine.
From the information obtained during the operation, Gega has carried out this activity in the field of selling cocaine, also outside Albania, such as in Italy, the Netherlands, but more focused and intensively in Germany.
In advance, from the information gathered on the operative route as well as after a long work, family assets have been identified, which are not justified from an economic point of view and are suspected to be related to and derived from his criminal activity.
Until the end of the investigation, these properties cannot be alienated and Altin Gega must justify them.
