The forests of Pishë-Poros were on fire for 8 days! Services in the 'battle' until extinguishing fires

The battle with the flames continues even on the eighth day of reactivation of the fire in the forest massif of Pishë Poros and Darëzeza in Fier.

Throughout the night, the fire services remained on the ground, while at around 1:00 a.m. a fire was activated, getting out of control, while also endangering a residence.

Thanks to the quick intervention of the fire services, the flames have been neutralized, while the operation will continue today, both from the ground and from the air.

Currently, the fires are of low intensity, while the Canadair planes sent by the Greek state will begin the intervention from the air.

All operational forces, fire services, armed forces, ADZM employees and support forces of the municipality are operating on the ground since the early hours of the morning.

During yesterday's visit to the ground, Defense Minister Niko Peleshi affirmed that the intervention from the air and the ground will continue until the fire is completely extinguished.
