Long lines at Kapshtica customs after Easter, Albanian immigrants wait for hours

A line of vehicles at the Kapshtica border crossing. After celebrating Easter in Albania, Albanian immigrants are returning to the Greek state while they have created a line waiting to cross customs.

Currently, work is being done with 3 exit counters on the Albanian side, while the situation remains conditioned by the Greek side, as there is a flow of entry and exit and they are not opening other counters. According to information, the Albanian side has all the capacities to add up to 6 counters, but they remain awaiting the situation on the Greek side.

Outraged, the migrants say they have been waiting for about 2 hours to cross the border.

According to them, this situation is not normal at all, while they say that the same thing happens at every party.

They appeal to the state to take measures to fix the situation as they are waiting in line even with small children.
