The "Qyno" case/Der Standard: The journalist discovered vote-buying networks

One of the most unprecedented cases that ever happened to a journalist, such as that of "Ora News" journalist Elton Qyno, has also brought the reaction of foreign media.
Recently, the Austrian newspaper, 'Der Standard', has devoted an article to the case of Elton Qynos, who was illegally terrorized by SPAK.
Among other things, the newspaper raises doubts that Qyno was interrogated for almost 7 hours and the officers of the National Bureau of Investigation conducted a search in his apartment and office, after he had discovered the networks of buying votes and human trafficking in our country .
Article :
"He discovered networks of vote buying and human trafficking in Albania: Elton Qyno is an experienced Albanian journalist. When he was called to be questioned by the special prosecution for corruption - SPAK on December 12 of last year, he did not take the two mobile phones with him in advance. In South-Eastern Europe, it often happens that journalists are asked by the authorities to reveal their information – and thus the protection of sources is violated. Qyno was interrogated at SPAK for two hours and repeatedly asked to reveal his source. "I refused," he tells STANDARD. "The public prosecutor then requested that my cell phone be confiscated."
Qyno was then held against his will for seven hours. Meanwhile, the public prosecutor ordered a search both in the journalist's office and in his private apartment. "Within just 55 minutes, the judge granted the request," Qyno said. His computer and work materials were confiscated. But that's not all: the officers took CDs with pictures of family celebrations, even CDs with Greek and Albanian music. Even a 10-year-old's cell phone.
Qyno also had to undergo a thorough body search. They took the car keys. A USB stick was taken from the car, even though there was no court order, according to Qynos. Finally, officers tracked down Qyno's cellphones using a so-called IMSI-Catcher. "All these illegal and absurd actions, aimed at discovering my sources, were surprisingly and unfortunately legitimized by the three levels of justice in Albania", Qyno told STANDARD. "Now we are waiting for the clarification of the decision of the Supreme Court".
