Police have arrested a 39-year-old man in Morina after he attempted to cross the border with combat ammunition and 4 cold weapons in his vehicle.
According to the police report, during the search of the vehicle, the police found 2 magazines with cartridges, 2 knives, 1 axe and 1 metal baton similar to the one the police had.
"The Morinë Border Police Services, in continuation of their work to combat cross-border crimes, based on risk analysis, have passed through a second-line check, at the entrance to the Republic of Albania, the vehicle driven by citizen ML.
During the search of the vehicle, the Police services found 2 magazines with cartridges, 2 knives, 1 axe and 1 metal baton similar to the one used by the Police, which were seized as material evidence, along with the vehicle.
At the conclusion of the actions in the case, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Kukës DVKM arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen ML, 39 years old, resident of Kosovo, for the criminal offenses of "Trafficking in weapons and ammunition" and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons ", the police announced.
