Drug trafficking and money laundering, businessman Orest Sota arrested! Businessman questioned several times by SPAK about ties with Ergys Agas

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), in cooperation with the State Police, has today undertaken an operation to execute security measures against several persons suspected of involvement in criminal activity.

Specifically, within the framework of this operation, it is learned that businessman Orest Sota was arrested, while the execution of the "prison arrest" measures was not carried out for the other two businessmen, Artur Shehu and Ilir Shtufi, as both of these persons are not found in the territory of Albania.

Edmond Jaupi is also wanted.

According to preliminary information, the suspects are being investigated for the criminal offenses of drug trafficking and large-scale money laundering, committed within the framework of a structured criminal group.
