Trafficking from Thailand, one Albanian and two Greeks in handcuffs! The value

Two Greek citizens from Patras and an Albanian citizen are the three people arrested for drug trafficking and importation from abroad, during an operation by police officers from the Narcotics Department at the Patras Prosecution and Criminal Investigation Sub-directorate.

They were caught red-handed while receiving three packages, which arrived at the central branch of the Hellenic Post (ELTA) in Patras, from Thailand, via the "Eleftherios Venizelos" international airport.

According to sources, the packages containing one kilogram of marijuana worth 23 thousand euros were sent registered to recipients who turned out to be from Patras. When they went to the post office and picked them up, the police immediately intervened and arrested them.

Among those arrested is a person suspected of being connected to the ownership of a well-known nightclub in the city. During a search of a "fraudulent" house that he guards, police found and seized 36 grams of cocaine and two precision electronic scales.

The young Albanian is known to local law enforcement authorities, after being arrested again a few days ago for a drug case.

Information about their action came to the attention of officers from the Patras Drug Department about a month ago and in cooperation with Customs, the illegal shipment was identified, which entered the country by air from Thailand and was then distributed to ELTA headquarters.
