"Today, the Municipality of Shkodra lost one of its most dedicated people, the captain of the tourist boat, Arben Anamali, who lost his life during a heroic act to save two tourists who were in danger of drowning in Lake Shkodra.
An act of humanity, but unfortunately with a bitter end. Arben was always at the service of visitors and tourists, contributing with passion and dedication until the last moment of his life.
"The Municipality of Shkodra expresses its most sincere condolences to the Alamani family at this difficult moment," the statement says.
