Washington DC/ Prisons Director Klevis Qose meets with ICITAP head Gregory Ducot

During the meeting, the achievements of the program being implemented in the prison system in Albania were discussed, as well as new projects for continued support in the field of security, rehabilitation and reintegration.
During the visit, Klevis Qose and the Director of Correctional Intelligence, Edlir Ajazi, held a meeting with Errol Etting, Executive Director of the Intelligence and Investigations Division of the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
The GDPA delegation was part of a study tour organized by ICITAP, which also included participation in the American Correctional Association Winter Conference in Orlando, Florida. This visit is part of the ICITAP-funded program for the Correctional Intelligence Unit at the DPPM, as an ongoing support and partnership with the Albanian prison and corrections system, supported by the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of State.
During the event, topics such as prison security, rehabilitation programs, information technology, and management of correctional institutions were discussed.
