Two women from Kazakhstan, AA, 34 years old and AA, 27 years old, have been arrested by the Elbasan Police, after being accused of practicing prostitution in a rented apartment in the "5 Maji" neighborhood.
The police announce that they are criminally prosecuting the apartment owner, R. Ç., 42 years old.
The investigative actions revealed that the foreign nationals were practicing prostitution in the apartment rented by the 42-year-old woman.
Sums of money in various currencies, 3 mobile phones and the documents of 2 arrested citizens were seized.
"About 1 week ago, Elbasan Police discovered two more apartments rented by foreign nationals to practice prostitution.
Specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section, as a result of an investigation conducted with proactive methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, to crack down on a case of prostitution, finalized the "Booking" operation, during which the apartment in the "5 Maji" neighborhood, where this activity was carried out, was discovered.
In this case, citizens from Kazakhstan, AA, 34 years old, and AA, 27 years old, were arrested in flagrante delicto, and proceedings were initiated against citizen R. Ç., 42 years old, resident of Elbasan.
"Investigative actions revealed that the foreign nationals were practicing prostitution in the apartment rented by the 42-year-old woman," the police announced.
The procedural materials were referred to the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office for further action.
