Vetting removes former prosecutor Arian Ndoja from the justice system, KPA bans his appointment for the next 15 years

The Special Appeals Commission has removed from the justice system for a period of 15 years former prosecutor Arjan Ndoja, who is currently running as a deputy for the Democratic Party in the Durrës district, in the May 11 parliamentary elections.
The KPA also decided yesterday to discontinue the transitional re-evaluation process for him.
The KPA announced that "at the end of the trial in the consulting room, the panel composed of Natasha Mulaj as presiding judge, Sokol Çomo as rapporteur, Albana Shtylla, Ina Rama, Mimoza Tasi as members, unanimously decided: Termination of the transitional re-evaluation process for the re-evaluation subject Arian Ndoja".
"The ban on the appointment of Arian Ndoja as a judge or prosecutor of any level, member of the High Judicial Council or the High Prosecutorial Council, High Inspector of Justice or Prosecutor General, for a period of 15 years," the KPA announced.
This decision is final and has immediate effect. Durrës Prosecutor Arian Ndoja was dismissed in May 2022 by the Independent Qualification Commission, after re-evaluation on two of the criteria.
We recall that former prosecutor Ndoja fell victim to an assassination attempt on November 1, 2019 while traveling in a vehicle with an exponent of organized crime, Aleksandër Lahon, known as "Rrumi i Shijakut"./ ATSH
