Ilaria Sula's cold-blooded killer confesses to prosecutors: When I was transporting the body, I stopped to buy cigarettes and a lighter

In a letter to Rome prosecutors, Mark Samson explains his version of the murder of Ilaria Sula, his former lover of Albanian origin, residing in Rome, Italy.
"From 10:15 PM on March 25 until midnight we talked about our relationship, about the fact that it was bothering me and I was tired of waiting and in the meantime she was looking for other people to hook up with," the 23-year-old writes in the letter, in which he describes the stages that preceded the stabbing of the 22-year-old in the apartment where Samson lived with his parents on Homs Street, in the African neighborhood of the Italian capital.
In the letter he reveals another detail: with the body locked in a suitcase inside the car, he then stopped to buy cigarettes and a lighter at a store. The young man, currently isolated in Regina Coeli on charges of intentional murder and concealment of a corpse, writes that on the evening of March 25, "it was getting late and so Ilaria asked me if she could stay at my house."
“I gave her a pair of pajamas so she could sleep comfortably,” he adds. “We lay down on my bed and started talking about the good things we had together, the experiences, the travels and the nicknames we gave each other. “Love, heart, life…” and then we moved on to the Albanian ones “Spirt”, “Zemra ime” and finally to the Filipino ones “'Bebe Ko', 'Mahal', 'Asawa'…”.
In the letter, the 23-year-old then dwells on what happened after the stabbing, on the morning of the 26th, and his attempt to get rid of the body by locking it in a suitcase and throwing it into a stream in the Capranica Prenestina area.
"I took the stroller out of the building, it was a day with a bright, blinding sun. I saw two girls coming my way, I let them pass and immediately after that I lifted the stroller without anyone's help: I opened the luggage compartment and stopped for a moment to regain my strength. I lifted the bag and put it on the right side of the trunk and left without a precise direction. Around 4:30 PM I stopped at a tabakino and bought cigarettes and a lighter" - the Filipino recounts.
